Employment Assistance Services

2nd Chance offers employment services to adults (25 and over) at our Fergus office, conveniently located in a historic stone building next to the Grand River. Coming from out of town? Don’t worry, we have free onsite parking. Traveling employment counsellors are also able to meet with clients in surrounding rural areas.
Like all our locations, the Fergus office has:

  • Free access to photocopying, faxing and telephone, internet and resource literature
  • One on one job search coaching
  • Advice about job loss, retraining and education

Note:

Youth (16-25) in the County can also access employment services through our partner agency, Conestoga College. Adult students with disabilities (in Guelph and Wellington County) are also eligible for ACE.
